Monarch Day™

I created this event to honour and remember my father Dr. Charles Gordon Powers (MD) who instilled the initial interest in Butterflies and also  recognize Dr. and Mrs. F.A. Urquhart who in 1959 encouraged me by making me one of their research associates while they were trying to solve the scientific question? Where do the (Monarchs) go for the Winter? If you are interested in learning more about the Magnificent Monarch I am available to bring a presentation to your school, organization, service club, shopping center, Nature center etc.

See first hand the marvels of this International Traveler as Dr. and Mrs. Urquhart called them.

At present I am creating an entire school program to celebrate the Monarchs Migration from Canada to the Southern States and Mexico. Monarch Day presentations can be scheduled anytime but are best during the month of September when we can tag and release Monarch Butterflies at your location.

With the assistants for fellow associates We are creating Monarch Day events throughout North America.
